Yesterday we went up to Niagara Falls, Canada. Leo, Elyjah (his 9-year-old son), Jordan (my 7-year-old daughter), Hannah & John (my 5-year-old twins), and me. We traveled separately and the 3 kids and I arrived about an hour ahead of the guys. When Leo and his son arrived they met us at a park in Canada and we then drove to the hotel and got checked in and all prepared to play at the water park.
The water park was a bit stressful in part because I do not swim or go in the water. Leo is not really experienced with 4 kids at once so he had a hard time keeping them together. When he would communicate with me I would take care of my 3 but he was insisting on trying to manage them all on his own.
Hannah started to have a bit of a meltdown because she was exhausted. You could just see it in her eyes that she was way past tired. John and Jordan also started to behave in ways that were very mean, disrespectful, and troublesome but they were mostly about control and attempts to get what they wanted to have at any given point in time.
We had a great dinner and then enjoyed a night settling in and everyone fell asleep!
